I feel you man. Somewhat wishing I had a base model. This damn front lip just sticks out so far. I am 99% sure I could drop it with no problem if I had the base model bumper |

I know it's not the best idea, but i friend of mine growing up had a stupid low crap azz little truck. He couldn't go right up his parents driveway, he would go partly through the yard and driveway.

I'm dropped on Swifts and dude, I WISH I had your driveway...I tried the 2x4 thing. Getting in and out of the car was a pain in the ***, especially in the rain. I don't park in my garage anymore after my flex pipes got two nice holes in them. Can't wait to move out of this building in a year.

you dont want to be scraping in and out of your drive way every day, trust me that is going to mess your front lip up. Not worth lowering it. The curb ramps will not help you.
Your options are: 1. Don't lower it. You will scrape once in a while, you can always replace the lower front lip with a new one. ~$400. 2. Maybe raise it? Not sure if you can do that with coilovers. 3. Fill in the driveway somehow, maybe concrete? 4. Move.

edfc does not control height. alsow ith the monoflex, you cannot get back up to OEM height, so you'd be lower just by having them on. its a bad idea for you. |

have you tried backing in? i scrape on my driveway when i pull in forward, even at stock height. i'm on Swifts now and can back in (at an angle) just fine, no scraping.

I say buy the wheels and forget about the drop... Get a little taller sidewall (dont go too much) and call it a day. It cant possibly look worse than stock, only better... IMO

actually backing in might work better. you'd think it would scrape but it wouldnt. your not scraping in the dip, your scraping on the incline, so backing up would fix that. just be careful driving out and dont let the momentum make your lip hit while leaving
