you will definitely see some camber wear but plenty of people are driving around with similar specs

I totally agree. They need to be a little better than that. Most shops think because it's in the green it's good to go. And you really don't need that much camber in the rear. But not that bad.

The rear camber I am going to put on some SPL rear camber links in a day or so, and then take it back to get it aligned again.

thank you for the input, I am going to take it back in a few days after I get a chance to put some SPL rear camber arms on.

Just had the Ventus V12 tires put on last night. 275 35 fronts and 305 30 rears. Did the alignment and the results were great except the camber on the rear is a little aggressive. The Swifts affect the camber a little too much so I think I might be adding camber arms soon...

Thanks Ken! The guys were great, stayed after hours and let me sit in the vehicle for the alignment, balance the weight distribution etc. They tweaked all the numbers to get them just right. The car runs like its on rails now!

hey if you're happy with the current setup and dont mind the extra camber just keep it. no sense messing up a good thing just because a number is showing it's aggressive. a number is just a number for custom setups imho. my G is running -2.6 on the rear intentionally. i have rear camber arms on that car. |

The guys had a good chuckle.... I adjusted the rear camber in my garage before I changed tires and did the toe adjustment by eye.... they were amazed at how close I got it in my garage with no alignment tools! Check the 'initial' settings!
luck! Hey Sixpax! Did you get the SPL arms on yet? I am curious to see how your numbers are now... I am going to go SPL too eventually.

there are folks that do alignments using the string method.... lol im not sure if that's popular these days since most speed shops can now do computer aided alignments.

always remember that the numbers will constantly change slightly.. with wear, suspension settling, track rubber, weight, pressures, temp.. etc. so even some fancy laser/computer/satellite/gps alignment rack will be precise only at that moment in time.
