Default Coilover system

I just got a 2012 Touring with Sport package this past weekend. I've been searching for exhaust and suspension. Sounds like exhaust is a personal preference but I was wondering what is a good coilover set up. I was looking into Nismo springs and shocks but read that they are firm and harsh. I see people running BC coilovers. People who are running this set up, how is the ride quality? I was wondering is there a lot of people running the Tanabe set up? Looks like these may end up as my three choices. I was want something that has stock like ride quality but will handle any twisty road thrown at it. Thanks.

Ask your self this first.

What do you plan to use the car for?
How much of a drop? This will determine if you need a alignment kit also.
Price range?

Price under $2,000. What I want is something that has comfort for a daily driver but is good for a Friday at the track even here and there. I don't want to slam my Z to the ground, looking for maybe an inch drop. I am just worried about a suspension being too firm and it not be fun to drive around the town. I live in Northern VA so there is a lot of construction and pot holes.

Agree, I used to live in that area and I know what you mean about road conditions... KW V3 would be a good choice... you might also look at the tein with electronic in cabin adjuster... can't remember who, but someone on this board has that setup and could comment more

KW are very good. The Tein are a good set up especially if you are looking for in cabin adjustment. Tanabe are nice set up also. HKS are nice but way to much $$.

Thanks for all the replies. I think i'll be leaning towards the KW. I know they make solid products and when I remember when I had my Challenger RT that KW was the choice for that car.

I have TEIN Monoflex with the EDFC and having the in cabin adjusts is very nice, but my setup will be a bit over your budget. There is another TEIN option which works with the EDFC for a little bit less, but the KW might be a better overall option.
I know a few people with the KW and they really enjoy them especially for the price.
