The car we developed this kit on is our red 370Z project car which has all of our products and then some... This car has TWO oil coolers, the heat exchanger for the supercharger kit, the power steering cooler, etc. There is no problem in clearance with our oil cooler kit.

By the way, I feel like it is my responsibility to throw out a "caution" before anyone decides to get creative.

When designing this product we looked at our options of materials and chose to use 304 stainless steel rather than a lesser grade and less expensive material because we did not want to have any tolerances changed by the plating thickness and/or vehicle tolerances. This area is so critical that we actually include eight 3 mm shims in case you find that your car requires additional clearance due to vehicle tolerances. Because of this, we decided to keep them non-coated and go with the 304 stainless steel.

So the caution is, on the hub backing plates, I would not suggest having these coated. In regards to the front inlets, the tolerances aren't critical with those so painting them or having them coated will make no difference. The only reason we didnt is because it would add significant cost and we wanted to keep these under $300.00. At the end of the day, once they're installed, very few people will actually see them.

like what was said, the backing plate and hoses will work fine with any brake asembly... so, if you have a G, Nismo, or Amuse, you can prolly just fit some kind of intake scoop underneath the car... for example...

the challenge is having someone develop a kit for ease in installing or so you don't have to be creative about it... maybe the guys at Z speed can recreate their undercover tray/shroud with a couple scoops or something...

making a statement to just buy the stillen fascia kit is a bit too much imo...

Yes, sorry if I gave the impression of "just buy our fascia." Definitely not what I was trying to convey.

The primary reason we don't have an answer for the Nismo's or G's yet is because we have been sitting on these for quite some time and wanted to get them out. We actually completed engineering back in October, did our testing at Fontana then have been waiting to launch them until we had parts on the shelves. We will look at the Nismo's and G's next but I did not want to hold up the release for those with stock or STILLEN fascia's.

And like I mentioned earlier, if you are looking to fit this kit to something other than a STILLEN or factory fascia, I would probably go the direction of the STILLEN fascia kit, other wise there is a good chance the additional brackets won't fit your application.

Also, we have tested these on O.E. base and sport model brakes as well as our AP Racing big brake kit. I do not see any reason as to why they wouldn't work with other big brake kits but we can not guarantee fitment on other kits.

I can't see any reason why it would be an issue with others, but I'll be verifying they work with stoptechs soon enough.

Stillen. Make one for the nismo lol. Pretty or not I'll buy it. Function > form. And I doubt nismo owners are going to change the bumper to stillen after paying extra for the pretty body kit lol

Great job Stillen!

The kit looks exactly as I imagined it right down to the hose routing. I completely agree with the use of stainless vs a painted lower grade steel especially with something that shims in behind the wheel bearing.

I look forward to getting this one track tested!

For the Nismo folk, it can be done, it will just take one of you to get creative. Just check the racing catalogs and buy the brake duct that looks like it will be the easiest to mount. Figure out how to attach it to the Nismo fascia and you are good to go!
