nismo springs with base struts?

Not sure how stiffer springs would wear out a strut. Seems like it would prevent it from actuating as much. As a result, I would think they would last longer

Not sure how stiffer springs would wear out a strut. Seems like it would prevent it from actuating as much. As a result, I would think they would last longer with less displacement and slower movement on the sliding components. I could see it affecting other areas that will see hgher g loading as a result of the modificaiton like wheel bearings and ball joints. Haven't done any research on it, just thinking...

The real issue will be increasing the natural frequency of the suspension without increasing the dampening factor. You may find your car more bumpy since you may become under-damped. This could wear out a strut quicker since this would increase the amount of total movement. It'd also be bad for handling and ride comfort.
