Alignment/Corner Weight Results
Thumbs up to Euro Tire in NJ - top notch and extremely professional.
I gave them the factory settings and told them to configure it to a 'inbetween street and track' - I must admit the car feels so refined now...Feedback is clean and crisp, and everything just feels very balanced! I should get the adjustables for the front and rear, as the rear is max positive at that setting but I might not have too because the car feels great as is and I'm not in any hurry to change settings very often. This was recorded with 3/4 full tank with nothing removed from the car...In fact I think my wife left a couple of board games and her laptop bag in the car, take it for what thats worth LOL.

Was this with you in the car (or some similar load in the driver's seat)? I ask because the right side is heavier than the left, you'd think it would be the other way around if anything.

I believe its without anyone in the car..Really I have no idea.
He said he would do it assuming it would change for the positive when i sit in the car, so I told him my weight... (I'm like 5'9ish and ~170) Lets remember too that corner weighting is much more track oriented because anything from an empty gas tank to the wife sitting in the car with you can throw off corner balancing so they try to perform this with real world intentions... Like I said, the car felt extremely poised and well balanced after all was said and done. He had to raise the rear a bit (it was evident from earlier pictures I posted) and it seems like everything has been evened out.

The whole car was sitting a good bit lower before this, it could have been all the adjustments in raising the car that allowed him to achieve this.

how much was the car raised after the alignment? Were the rally pictures you posted after the alignment?

Yes this was performed before the rally, its the reason why I did it actually! Sexy car eh
It really doesnt take much as far as I understand, it was probably all of a 1/4 to 1/2 in various spots from front to rear...

Weights look good.
I'm hoping for -3.0 front, -2.0 rear, but I think I'm going to need the SPC or SPL front control arms to reach that. My front tires are taking a real beating. |

Ya these settings are really nice, but I dont think he was able to go anymore aggressive with the front without throwing off weights/height purportions of the car...Not sure.
But, I do remember him saying the rear was set to max positive so I can go more aggressive there...Maybe i'll just get the adjustable fronts for now. Who knows? I kind of like the way it is right now

-2.0 is a good balanced compromise between street and track. If you're going to be doing a lot of track then you're going to want more up front if you can get it, the -2.0 in the rear seems to be plenty in this car from what I've seen.

I just got my alignment dialed in with close to what you have. It feels so good now.
However, I just can't get past the negative camber on the rear. I don't like a whole lot of camber. Mine is right around -2.0 on the rears and it just looks kind of ricer. Maybe I am just looking too hard. I like the neutral camber, but I know its hard to get with wide tires/wheels and a aggressive drop like we have.

I 100% agree with RCZ, not ricer at all!

ricer is too harsh of a word. It's just off too me. I am looking into it too much I guess.
Question. I have the SPC alignment kit, but when I went in for the alignment. The rear left toe was WAY off (1.10) and they said couldn't adjust anymore. The toe adjustment was at its max. They then adjusted the camber to around -2.2 and the toe came back to acceptable range (.5). Is that common? They locked it in at that range. I took it to a Nissan dealer and had the GTR tech do it all and he said everything is good now.
