My personal opinion, yes Eibach is the best. Technically they did it right. Especially if you want the real beafy sway bar at minimal weight penalty. Stillen is still a good choice too if you don't want it quite as stiff. If Whitelines were stock color and stock ends, it would be cool since Nissan might not notice them during warranty claims. I don't think the ends are stock looking though. If what I think is true, I think they're marketing them wrong by not having it an exact match look-wise.

These are the numbers I found on the different websites for settings.
OEM (Front 1.04 OD x .15 wall 560 lbs @ 1", Rear 0.945 OD x 0.13 wall, 540 lbs @ 1") Stillen Sway bars $301.78 (Front +21/+48% 1.0625x0.250, Rear +37/+70% 1.0x0.188) Whitelines Sway Bars (Front 27mm-solid $271, Rear 24mm-solid $240, End Links $167.70) Hotchkis $475 (Front 35mm +205% tube, Rear 28.5mm +75% tube) Eibach $529 (Front 32 (+76%/+117%), Rear 29mm (+67%/+98%/+130%)) Found the Eibach for $350 at tire rack. F&R: P/N 6393.320 Another site had them cheaper but didn't see anyone using them. |

Whiteline installation
Quote:
Stiffest setting!! Stiffest setting!! Installation wasn't bad at all. I was by myself and knocked them out in a few hours. took a dinner break in between 2 sway bars. The front sway bar installation was just as easy as an oil change. My car is still pretty new so all the nuts came right off. if you have issues with rusted nuts just soak them with WD40 or rust busters. The rear one was a bit more complicated. I have the single mid-pipe exhaust set up so it was a bit easier for me. I took out the screws on the strut bar on both sides, took one out on the rear, and loosed the other one and let it hanging there. then I took out 2 screws on the exhaust and let the mid pipe hanging. It might be more complicated with duel setup. Now just try to wiggle the stock sway bar out like a puzzle piece! Before you put the aftermarket one in make sure it's in the right direction and not the other way around... Make sure you grease up the bushings really well. And don't over torque! I test drove around the neighborhood going 30mph after I was done installing them, I could definitely tell the steering was much more responsive! Going to test them out on the freeway today EDIT: more pix Take off either one and loosen up the other one.

Dude - My Eibachs looked so much beefier, but then I guess the Whitelines are solid, so they don't have to be beefier, but the numbers on the Eibachs indicated that they are even tighter than the Whitelines... Did you consider Eibachs at all? and if so, what made you go with Whitelines instead? just curious....

I'm thinking about the stillen, i had the hotchkis but sold them. Since my car is about 98% street driving and 2% track driving i thought the hotchkis were a bit over kill for me.

My swaybar analysis obsession
OK, put a few more pieces of information together on this one...
Minor correction on stock size (source Nissan website) Addition of Nismo Sways (Nissan website) Put the advertised stiffness in new column for easy reading Found some additional pricing from distributor listings Should make your sway bar decisions easier. |

I am thinking of going whiteline as well. its around $650 AUD for whiteline. that includes back and links. looking at the other bands some don't come with links and cost around the same when you pay for the links as well..
cycy89. do you still have the car?. have you changed them since then . what do you think of them from this date?. |
