SPL front camber coming soon?

^ I agree, except that the prototype and testing stages were already done, and they've never mentioned any production delay, then what's the hold up? The only thing I can

I just hate the "6-8 weeks" nonsense. If they know the arms won't be ready, just say so, so I don't keep waiting and have coilovers just sitting at home. At some point, the standard answer becomes an irresponsible one

Honestly, I think the FR-S happened, and I wouldn't assume that because they've had prototype units around for a couple years that the original prototypes were any good. They might have had failures and had to re-design or something.

I think they didn't start on the Z until fairly late (2011) and then the FR-S came out and they jumped on that bandwagon like so many other companies. They have a full line of FR-S stuff out (or about to be out) already, so they've obviously devoted a ton of resources to gearing up for that.

^yup saw ur comment on their FB page too.

The prototype I was referring to was the one that's already on a customer's car (Nismo09), testing had been finalized a few months ago. Heck, the arms are on his car permanently already.

I don't see the worth. $550 more than 3 others we can pic from? Unless they're blowing out and breaking/killing people at the track, I'm sure they'll do fine. Bushings and modifying can be done pretty easy to make the others better.

If you think these are expensive you better not even look at the Doran Racing made arms.

so just buy those... the SPC I'm maxed out at -3 camber up front, I can get -3.4 but I need to be slammed so no thanks. Can't wait for them asap!! need more than just -3 deg camber!!!

FYI: SPL Pro Suspension Front Camber Arms **PRE-ORDER**

So that's the only reason you want others? More camber?

^he also had a rear SPC arm snapped in half at the track. $500 for better peace of mine, worth it to some, but not everyone, it's understandable.

Yeah I saw that. I'm definiantly getting spl rears, but if the front aren't snapping and I can get -2.5 then I see no reason for anything over $300 even on the hardest of track cars. $500 isn't better peice of mind for me just because you're buying name brand CnC or cast aluminium. Steel tig welded is better in my mind.

Lol yeah I saw. Nothing against them but in my book selling a few items at top dollar only brings in small moneys. Reasonable/good prices sell millions. There's a reason each Walmart kid is worth 17 billion dollars and Louis Vuitton, Michael Coors etc. is only worth millions

The SPC arms broke on me during my first session at Road Atlanta... Had I not remembered to bring my stock arms I would have been sitting around after driving ~600 miles. I had only done a few track days on them at that point too.

Wish I hadn't pitched them sometimes though.

Just to be clear as this is a first I'm seeing if correct, you're talking about the fronts and not the rears correct? What broke, where, pics?

Yup the front. First half of the session felt good then I started getting severe vibrations under braking. Rotors looked fine and the car felt ok in the paddock so I pulled the wheels and saw that the front UCA bushings had completely given up. The other side were almost as bad so I chucked 'em.

Maybe I was just lucky... I believe I only had 4-5 track days on them at that point. I'd have to check my notebook.
