Question about Brake Noise
Hi All,
I just got a Red 2011 Nissan 370z (auto transmission, brand new with 70 miles), and am pretty happy with it. The only thing I've noticed though is that when I bring the car to a complete halt, and then take my foot off of the brake pedal and let it creep forward, that there is a slight noise that comes from the car brakes at the time when my foot is coming off the pedal. Kinda like a very small, short groan (if you would even call it that - The term makes it sound worse than what it really is). It's not a squeeling noise, grinding noise, thumping noise, vibration or anything like that. There are no noises while the vehicle is running, and no noises during normal braking/release while the car is moving. For all intents and purposes, the brakes seem to be working fine as does the rest of the car. Using Google and researching to see if anyone else has noticed similar behavior, I found a couple of helpful articles. For example: Quote:

Guess I'd feel a little better if I knew this was pretty common. Otherwise, I'll likely take it to the dealership at minimum to ask. |
