my base brake makeover
i redid my base brakes. about $20 in materials. i like how it turned out. next up will be the Z1 base brake upgrade $500 gets you drilled and slotted rotors stainless brake lines, hawk pads, and motul fluid. for now the pics
this is were we start then sand down and smooth with 90 grinder then paint then apply decal then clear coat Mmmmm shinny how it turned out.

they look really nice, about the nicest spray job I've seen. How long did it take you to grind them smooth?

i took my time. about 2 days to grind. (remember Mike i used to grind for a living for the big D in the composites shop; so my 90 grinder skills are high. lol!) 1 day on paint on front and 1 day paint on rear.
4 days total.

Gottcha. I'm hardly down that far south. Mostly around eagels landing and stockbridge. Ill keep an eye out for you. We should meet up sometime if there is a mountain run or something.

Wow, they turned out great. If you were only in the area...I would paid to get that done. Cheaper than upgrading to the sport brakes.
