too low

have dropped the a way too low
now having problem to get it on the lift
have to use 2x4 3x4 2x6 ........

that takes forever i was wondering is there something that made for lowered car to get on lift .

kenchan 01-15-2012 09:52 AM

in you're going that low i suggest getting custom airbags made for your suspension..

How much did you drop it?

Yea pictures of the drop, and I would recommend 2x4s to help you stay low and still be able to work on the car when needed. Here is a picture of my friends driveway set up.

If it is a jack that you can't get onto, you can buy a lower profile jack (harbor freight has a really low one for under $100). Not sure what you mean by lift unless you have a personal one or your car is often in the shop.

Old thread, but I have this from Harbor Freight and it is very low and very long, probably will do the trick though it is VERY HEAVY.

i have to drive my car onto 3/4 MDF to get the legs for my hoist under it at home.
