Right now I don't think the stock tires are sticky enough to really shock anything hard enough to break it. I'd be worried, though, if somehow I fitted some ET Streets on the back and was hopping like crazy. Those things will bite and could easily snap an axle.

I can tell you, the Corvette guys (particularly the '05 C6) explode rears on a regular basis from wheel hop. Poly trans/Dif mounts and better shocks seem to minimize this..

Yea i know the corvette guys shatter their LSD's. They have little lsd case braces you can buy, but I hear if the wheel hop is bad enough it still cracks the casing.

Well if anyone does happen to break/crack anything from wheel hop..let us know! :O
