It looks pretty good for the price but the spring rates are a little high they have it listed @ 12k front 10k rear it would be a better ride with 10k front 8-9k rear while still maintaining a good ride with good handling.

hmmm well i surely like the price BUT i certainly do not want to make it higher by any means.

any other suggestions then?

looking for a nice sporty suspension in the affordable range.

If you don't track your car but want a lowered & great handling car then I would put Swift springs on it,I had these on my car before I switched to coil overs, the ride, the stance, and the handling were the best out of any lowered spring I ever had,if you are stuck on coil overs then BC racing has a good set for about $1000.

hmmm a thousand.... hmmm looks like i guess i got some saving to do ... im not gonna track it and surely dont want it lowered (my driveway has dips exc as does various areas around where i live, so LOWERED isnt the way to go most of the time, i just thought the price was good for having the racing suspension. without the price lol. a list of CHEAP types of your favorite suspensions would help me out alot =) my car will eventually be shown in local car shows. but i want the assurance that it can get down and go when called upon, you know?

The CX Racing stuff is garbage - stay away!

Get the BC Racing BR type, around $1K but much better quality. The default spring rates it comes with are 10K front, 8K rear which is good a good compromise for the street with occasional auto-x/track. Choose the rear spring length according to the amount of drop you are looking for.

If lowering your car is out of the question and you are not going to track it but moving the car up or down is important it is going to be pricey to achieve this, every time you raise or lower the car you need to get the alignment redone (this will get expensive fast).
If your just going to show your car and cruise around in it then leave the suspension stock and spend your money on wheels, body kits, interior parts like carbon fiber or a new stereo.
The stock suspension is one of the best on a stock car I've seen it is great around town and on the highway plus fun as hell in the mountain twistys.

lol i hear you, it can be lowered, but not TOO low (prime example is my driveway it twists and dips at certain points lol and if too low it'll scrape the underside, which i dont want lol damn i wish i had a flat driveway.

As others have said check out swift springs not to low at 1.25 front and 1 inch in the rear.

I just put my springs on and its the best money I've ever spent. My city (Corpus Christi) has some of the crappiest roads you can find, hence my concern with throwing on some lowering springs at the cost of scraping and a crappy ride, but these things are amazing. Some of the best money I've spent on my car. The ride is amazing, and the drop gives the car a much more aggressive look, and I haven't scraped yet.
