Hey guys, I just installed the Stoptech Street Performance brake pads on my G37S and I noticed that the pad itself isn't connecting with a small portion on the disk.

Stoptech Akebono brake pad problem/review
Hey guys, I just installed the Stoptech Street Performance brake pads on my G37S and I noticed that the pad itself isn't connecting with a small portion on the disk. I don't think my factory brake pads had this problem. What do you guys think, is this okay? Have other people used it like this? I posted these pictures which show the part of the rotor not in contact with the pad. Notice how the inner potion has a different shade than the outer, still has that new rotor texture to it. Is this normal?
