Wheel Spacers - unlowered car

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you did not lower your car, and added in wheel spacers, would it reduce the wheel gap at all?

I don't want to lower my car just yet. Thought about getting spacers if it improved the look a little. Otherwise I will wait till I am ready to lower the car.

I do not know enough about Wheel Spacers, and tried searching but could not really get a answer.

Gap as in the distance between the top of the tire and wheel well?

spacers won't do nothing for wheel gap, they only provide a wider wheel stance to fill in the sunken look of the stock wheels.

Most kill two birds with one stone by lowering a little to deal with the wheel gap and the spacers to deal with the sunken wheel look.

there is a sticky at the top of the wheels section

If you add spacers at stock height, it will actually further emphasize the apparent wheel gap

I put spacers on before my swifts and I thought it looked great. I would definitely recommend spacers.

Here's 15mm in the front and 20mm in the back BEFORE springs. Running 285/35/19 rear tires and 265/35/19 fronts

Only do the spacers with removable studs!

^ Yup, 15/20 is the perfect combo for a car at stock height.

worth noting that the larger-than-stock diameter of the rear tires affects the look dramatically.

You mean larger than stock diameter of the tires...? My wheels are stock. But yes, the larger side walls of my 285/35/19 Bridgestone RE-11's make a bit of a difference.

20/20 looks the best, but can rub in the front with meaty tires. 15/20 is a great compromise. I like H&R spacers because they come with the hubcentric rings machined into the spacer, and you can trust the H&R brand.
