Wheel Spacers - unlowered car
Hey guys,
I was wondering if you did not lower your car, and added in wheel spacers, would it reduce the wheel gap at all? I don't want to lower my car just yet. Thought about getting spacers if it improved the look a little. Otherwise I will wait till I am ready to lower the car. I do not know enough about Wheel Spacers, and tried searching but could not really get a answer. Thanks |

Gap as in the distance between the top of the tire and wheel well?
spacers won't do nothing for wheel gap, they only provide a wider wheel stance to fill in the sunken look of the stock wheels. Most kill two birds with one stone by lowering a little to deal with the wheel gap and the spacers to deal with the sunken wheel look. there is a sticky at the top of the wheels section Wheel Spacers 101 |

^ Yup, 15/20 is the perfect combo for a car at stock height.

You mean larger than stock diameter of the tires...? My wheels are stock. But yes, the larger side walls of my 285/35/19 Bridgestone RE-11's make a bit of a difference.

20/20 looks the best, but can rub in the front with meaty tires. 15/20 is a great compromise. I like H&R spacers because they come with the hubcentric rings machined into the spacer, and you can trust the H&R brand.
