Anyone have Ichiba front camber arms?

Trying to find out if anyone has the Ichiba front camber arms?.. are they good quality? any problems? Thanks

Default Anyone have Ichiba front camber arms?

Trying to find out if anyone has the Ichiba front camber arms?.. are they good quality? any problems?

I just got a set delivered and they are designed just like the SPC ones. I'd imagine the quality would be about the same as well. I'll update when I get a change to install and put a good amount of miles behind them.

Well I found some time last night to install the front camber kit and had a few concerns.

1. The rubber bushings that joins the arms to the frame seem very stiff. When the bolts are torqued down, the arms do not rotate as much at the stock arms. I tried to position the arm in a neutral position for my ride height, but it felt like the bushings were really strained to handle the full suspension droop of the stock shocks while the car was on jack stands. Did anyone with the SPC arms notice this as well?

2. There are 12-positions for caster(and secondary toe) selected by spinning the ball joint assembly in a keyed plate. One ball joint assembly was machined with a ~15 degree offset so the left will never match the right...

They do seem pretty solid and allow me to get close to 0 camber. I'll have a better idea about the arms after an alignment and a few weeks on the road.

Quick update: Ichiba was nice enough to replace the funky ball joint and now my caster issue is resolved. I've been running the kit for a few weeks on the streets and have not had any problems with the camber adjustment slipping. I've got no regrets going with Ichiba. Now I just gotta find some time to install the rear arms and tow bolts!

I would steer very clear of Ichiba products. It's nothing but low grade Chinese garbage. Eventually the rubber bushings on them will fail like they did on mine and if you are not careful their suspension products might even KILL YOU!!!!

whoa.. I can handle the front bushings wearing out, but the rear arms snapping? maybe I'll hold off on installing those.

Trust me, you will not be able to handle the bushings wearing out. After awhile you will get sick of the loud clunking noises coming from your failed Ichiba camber arms.

And the camber adjustment on these are terrible. I am lowered 1 inch and my Ichiba arms are at the max adjustment and I'm still not at OEM camber spec. $300 down the drain on these arms that not only failed but couldn't even do it's intended job of getting me back to OEM specs.

how much adjustment did you actually get from the Ichiba arms? Did the bushings on yours actually fail?

Strange, I was able to get around 1deg neg camber easy in the front on my 370. You might need to spin the caster adjustment 180 degrees to get within stock range.. or they gave you the wrong/bad arms.

I'll check my bushing periodically for damage or slipping and let you know how they hold up, but I have a feeling they'll be fine.

Around a .5 to .8 adjustment. What do you mean did the bushings "actually" fail? As you can see from the pics the bushings did not hold the arm in the center causing the arm to push against the metal part in the fenders which will cause all kinds of clunking noises during everyday driving.

Pretty sure I am at max adjustment. I'll take pics of the top of the arm to show you where they are set at.

Ok here are the pics showing the plate on the arm at the farthest point I could put it without having to do some type of modification to the plate. Does yours look like this at max?
