You may as well upgrade from stock while you've got everything torn apart. Some nice slotted rotors would be a great idea. Stay away from cross-drilled unless you like inspecting them often and replacing them more than other styles of rotor.
Shoot me a PM if you need any help.

I just got the race package from Fontana installed last friday. Huge improvement in feel, stopping force and no longer does the wheel shimmy under hard braking. I upgraded from the sport package. No noise from the mx72 pads on the street. Just watch out, when i went to test the stopping power from high speed for the 1st time i just aboit engaged abs on accident, the initial bite is far superior.
You would still need to buy the calipers seperate tho. Thx again Scott! |

Oh and be warned, if you ever get your brake fluid hot enough to warrant the good stuff ull have in there your oem clutch fluid is probably going to boil 1st just from the heat transfer. My 1st track experience in the z i ran " out of gas" due to fuel starvation with a quarter tank left, then boiled my clutch fluid, braked differently on the 3rd session and boiled my brake fluid. That was with oem fluids tho. As a result i got the Z1 SS clutch line and motul 600 fluid put in [my clutch] at the same time. GLBS
