2 piece rotor setup FTW! Expensive though and not whole lot of options with the 2 piece. DBA makes some pretty good rotors and for a decent price.

Decent price... one piece rotors... check out Stillen's Sport rotors. Good value.

At the end of the day it will honestly come down to your budget and how aggressive you are looking to go. If your vehicle is primarily daily driven and you are only seeing one track day a year, than the PowerSlot rotors would be fine for you. The next step up would be the StopTech slotted rotors, and even further would be the DBA 2 piece rotors.

Please feel free to PM me if you would like a quote on any of these options.

Have the upgraded rotor reduced the braking problem of the z due to the heat causing wobble steering?

Most cars do that under heavy braking, dont they?

Mostly 2 pc floating rotors. 1 pc rotors are quiet.

Not really sure I understand what you are asking, but regarding heat issues... rotors aren't going to do anything to solve brake fade on the Z. Higher temperature-rated pads and brake fluid will, however.

With the stock pads there will be no extra squeaking. Especially if you apply brake quiet to the backing plates of the pads.

Slotted, drilled, or J-hook rotors will however make a little more of a "pad grind" sound that you may or may not be able to hear with the windows down. This is just a function of the aggressive rotor surface wearing against the pad under braking. More so than a blank rotor.

Now many aggressive street or track pads will squeal as a function of their material composition. The more aggressive they are the louder they tend to be.
