Did you tighten the front suspension arms up with everything hanging down? I heard that you're supposed to tighten everything with a jack lifting it up to where it would sit on the ground then tighten everything. Not sure though.

Wow those look amazing!!! Where can I buy and how much? I don't really track my car so I could care less about $1000 coilovers... These look just as sexy! Can you take a picture of the rear from a distance? Thanks brah

Tanabe Sustech GF210 coil springs, $300-$400 for 4 springs depends on where you get them. I got them at Jotech Motorsports and got them installed too. You can try to find them online or call Jotech at 972.494.2100 and ask for Tony, tell him what you want he can probably hook you up.

can you update new pics when you get spacers on. i got ichiba V1 15mm front and V2 20mm rear spacers on. im thinking bout getting Tanabe GF210 springs and a SPC camber kit but i wanna see more pics of how it looks with spacers first. nissan quoted me $420 to install the springs, rear camber kit and an alignment. too much or sounds right???

Yes i'll post pix as soon as I get them! labor varies depends on where u install them. As I mentioned in the previous reply, you can call jotech motorsports and them, those guys know their stuff. Are the sides of your wheels line up with the sides with your spacers? I'm getting fic spacers 15 front 20 back.

the spacers are a tad smaller than the sides of the wheels. the mechanic thats gonna do my install is the certified master mechanic for GT-R at nissan they have done a lot of sweet upgrades at the shop from twin turbos to superchargers on 370z's. just was wondering if $420 was too much for the springs, rear camber kit install and alignment. how long did the install take?

kenchan 10-30-2011 04:50 PM

tanabe is notorious for the boat look so for some folks it might appear the front's did not drop. but in those pict the rear lowered more but the front is definitely dropped. :)

after a lot of research i pulled the trigger on a set of Swift springs and rear SPC camber kits for my z today...:happydance: the "Swift Spring Review" thread has a lot of members giving it excellent reviews. plus yeah i want the front to drop a tad more than the back for that aggressive look. i doubt i can get them on in time for the Houston "coffee & cars" this saturday though. but then again i installed an Evo-R LED rear fog light, GT-R start button and spacers to have something new for this november get together.:icon17:

420 doesnt sound too bad. I know for the springs it cost me 250 labor, it took them between 1-2 hours. Do you have a sound clip for your exhaust?

I don't think I'm getting spacers soon. I'm saving up for exhaust.. haha

ihatepotholes 10-31-2011 07:45 PM

i had these on my evo ix, they were great!

i still wanna check if i can find a better quote on the install. i spent $335 for Swift springs and $161 for SPC rear camber kits, so $496 for everything. i cant believe the install will cost just as much at $420.:shakes head:

heres a link on what i was looking at before I pulled the trigger on the Invidia Gemini Exhaust.

2010 Nissan 370z Invidia Gemini Exhaust - YouTube
370Z Invidia Gemini Exhaust - YouTube

i love how it sounds under throttle. imo just have to give it time to burn out all the residue inside.

Yeah labor fees are pretty ridiculous .. or you can work on it yourself!
I'm thinking about getting the ARK Grip, really like the look and sound. It's really hard to compare the sound clips of different exhaust systems because the device they use to record and where they position the camera can make it sound a lot different.

vividracing 11-02-2011 11:17 AM

$420 sounds about right. We charge a bit more here for a lowering spring install, but it includes the alignment. If you've got a floor jack, jack stands, and basic hand tools you can tackle the job yourself.

Either way, make sure you get an alignment.

the install quote is with alignment also. i have to have a shop install the springs. no tools in my garage to do the install on my own.

ihatepotholes 11-03-2011 02:46 PM

420 for springs installation?! Lol I paid 200 for the installation on my old car. Does anybody know what the going rate is for coilover installation and alignment?

Do anyone know exactly how many inches Tanabe low your car down? And does it sack later?

cycy89 12-22-2011 11:02 AM
