Alignment Question
Hey guys I've got an alignment question. My car is dropped on Swift springs and just recently took it for an alignment. Everything was put back to specs except for the rear toe. I have spc front and rear camber kits but I didn't install the rear toe bolt.
When the tech gave me the report he said the closest he could get it back to stock on the toe was at 1.70 total. Now is it really gonna be this bad because I've seen other cars with same setup get back to spec on stock toe bolt. I'm gonna install the bolt next week but wanted to know if driving like this for say 150 miles is gonna mess up my tires? Thanks |

Yea that's what they told me so I'm gonna put my toe bolt on and take it again. It's just weird that some people can get it back to specs with the stock bolt. Are all cars different or whats the case?

1.7 total toe is really bad (0.85 per side), that will chew through tires pretty quick. You'll have some excess wear in 150 miles but it won't totally destroy the tire. I would avoid high speed and fast cornering.
Usually they can compromise camber to correct toe given that it is a 4-link rear, however I would just install the toe bolts and get it done correctly. You might even be able to get them to install the toe bolt for next to nothing when re-doing the alignment.
