Default What size spacers?

We took some additional pictures to show the new drop, Swift springs, new wheels (G-Games 99B) and to get some input about what size spacers to add. I also had an alignment today which did not get the car back in spec. I will scan the sheet tomorrow. Looks like a rear camber kit and possibly a front camber kit are in order.

Here are the pictures:

I was thinking no spacers up front and maybe a 10mm in the rear?

Def leave the front. Maybe 10 or 15 mm in the rear.

the front is abit aggressive for my taste... wat are the widths of the wheels and offsets?

that will give us a better idea vs looking at pictures.

^Agreed with Kenchan, what are the offsets of the wheels? I think a 15mm in back would match the aggressive offset of the front wheels, however a 10mm would be the safer choice. You have plenty of camber though so you should be able to fit 15mm without an issue.

Wheels are 19X9.5 & 9X10.5 +22 offset for all wheels. I am running stock tires sizes for the sport package.

I am attaching a copy of my alignment. I am running too much camber in the rear and front and will get a camber kit for the rear. I have not decided if I will get the front camber kit. Any suggestions?

i checked your alignment. i'd just keep it like that for now. the rear camber could match a little better though... max tolerance for me is 0.2 degrees left and right. you got 0.3 degree difference between the 2 rears.

with ET+22 up front you'll want to keep that camber (or add a tad more for turnability if you auto-x) otherwise it will look too sticking out.

The front looks good. You can always take a ruler and measure the distance from the fender to the tire. 1" = 25mm. Just by visual, I looks like you could use a 15mm to match the front fitment.

Thanks for all of the insight! I think I will measure the distance from the tire to the fender tonight.

Question about the alignment, with the amount of camber I am running how bad do you think the wear on the tires will be? Do you think the alignment could be better adjusted (as kenchan suggested) to get the rear camber better matched without something else being thrown off?

Your alignment isn't that bad. The toe will kill your tires more than camber will. You could use a rear camber kit, but it's not necessary. With my rear camber kit and toe bolts, I think I'm at -2.5 in the rear. As long as you rotate the tires on a regular basis...say every other oil change...you will be fine. For me, I have Nitto Invos and I cannot rotate the tires.

yah, as 98intrigue mentioned it's really the toe angle that wears the tires. on a car like our z it likes to have toe-in for stabilty. i would just leave the alignment where it's at unless you're not specifically happy with how it rides (tracking to one side, steering wheel off center, etc).

ive been running -2.6 on my G35C's rear since 2005 (front -1.8). tires wear pretty flat but slight more wear on the inner treads from the camber. this is normal. if you're running asymetrical tires with reinforced belts on the inner treads like the stock RE050's and many tires out these days, you will see even less wear on the inner treads from camber.

my toe-in is set 0.15 degrees each side on the rear, 0.05 on the front.

I'm guessing 20mm in the rear should fix you up nicely.

Are you planning on going lower? I'd go with a 15 or 20mm in the rear if you're staying at that height.

The fronts look pretty good. No spacers needed on the front.
