Base model brake rotor upgrade question

As of late i've not been too happy with my front brakes. I believe the front rotors are warped etc. As much as i would love to do a big brake kit its not an option right now.

So far, i've checked out the slotted rotors offered for sale by Z1, Stoptech and Powerslot. Anyone have experience with any that i've listed? I'm also going to get new brake pads also. Any feedback would be appreciated.

get slotted/drilled if you like the look better. otherwise get what you had.

for street use, you will notice no difference.

advanceautoparts.com with 20% off is great. If you are hard on it, get them cryo treated

Hmmmm

Cryo treating will resist warping better. Slotting seems to resist grooving a little better but will eat through front pads considerably faster. Make sure the caliper slide pins are nice and lubricated and can move smoothly, otherwise it will feel like warp when it really isn't.

I warped my base rotors very quickly when I still had them. I cut the front rotors and installed hawk pads and it was a noticeable improvement. Get braided line and better fluid while your at it.

Than look for a used oem BBK , that's what I did.

I'm gonna go with Stoptech rotors and hawk pads. **** it
