If a shop removed painted and installed ur rotors for 100$ thats a favor to you
Removing all 4 calipers may take a shop around an hour. Then powdercoat lets say 300$ if they do a proper prep work. Reinstalling calipers is the same as installing except bleeding brakes may take another hour or so. So ur looking at 3 hiurs + powdercoat. 800$ is high. $500 would be reasonable if you know they do a quality job Although in bahrain im not sure how costs go. Things could just cost more there |
thanks guys for your feed back yeh things do cost a lot here but i think 800$ is toooo much, he told me he will do them half the price if he paints them without having to remove them, what do you guys think? will it come out as good

Just remove them yourself or have them removed and send them to Mike the powdercoater here on the forums. He does great work and his prices are fair. $800 is crazy.

i would love to send them to mike, but i dont live in the states loool but thanks for ur suggestion any ways :D

I charge 350 for the set, which includes totally disassembling them, cleaning all the internal parts, stripping original finish off, coating them and then reassembling. If I have to do the removal and reinstallation on the car, it's an additional 200 in labor. |

I'm going to do it for about $40 myself...
While I wait for Mike to take care of some biznass before I can get them from him. |
