Thanks to Lou over at Amplified Motorsport for getting my Stop-Tech rotors:tup: These things look and perform awesome.
I think he has one more set in stock, anyone interested should PM him for a price. ;)

Do you feel a difference in braking?

As far as stopping distance goes, they feel like they bite just a tad bit harder, but I could be imagining this, or justifying the cost.:icon17:
There is no difference in the pedal feel, I was worried that there might be vibrations or harshness felt since Im just using the stock pads, but nope, everything feels good. :tup:
I have the rears on order, waiting for them to come in and then I'll probably change the brake lines to SS, the fluid to Motul 600 and the pads to something else, but not sure yet.

Looks great! It seems like you add a new mod every week! Can't wait to see what the next mod is.

Have you tested panic stop braking? Experienced anything like this?

Its not going to brake any better other than maybe because they are thicker/newer than your stocks... its just going to dissipate heat better...which you wont be able to tell until you get on the track.

The reduction in the mass of the rotor due to the holes and slots may not help with heat dissipation. For a given size you have less mass to transfer the heat into. However, the rotor's internal design and material selection may help with thermal transfer to the air.

heard something around these lines with slotted/drilled rotors. heard they don't do anything for DD but do preform on the track.

The point of the holes and slots is to allow hot air to flow away from the rotor and help keep the rotor cool...

However, there are downsides to this...specially with the drilled rotors...they start to get spiderweb cracks around the holes and eventually it all goes.

^^ That's one of the reasons I will probably go with Applied Rotor Technology. They do a lot of the cryogenics for other vendors who sell rotors.

+1 for slotted but not drilled.
