Lowered with 25mm/30mm spacers?

I personally like a little poke on the front and back. Seems like most are running 20/25mm spacers with the stock rays. I see that there's still a little more room left in the front for a 25mm in the front with the pictures others have posted. I currently only have 25mm in the back and nothing in the front. I was thinking putting the 25 in the front and a 30 in the back. Eventually I'll decide between getting swift springs or kw3 coilovers. So I'm asking if there will be a rubbing issue with a mild drop. Thanks

That's what I was going to do but 25 on the front will rub...you'll need quite a bit of camber

redbullRR or something is running 20/25mm and lowered on coilovers and it looks flush. so 25/30 should poke a bit but idk if it would rub.

25/30 is a bit much imo. 20/25 sticks out a few MM as it is.

20/25 is about as flush as possible...

wang you can prob get a z1auto 2.5mm spacer and throw it on the rear to add a little "poke"

I know its not the best idea but I have extended stud 10mm in my rear and I threw a 2.5 between my spacer and wheel to help my rear offset and it drives perfectly...

BTW sell me back my winter wheels!

Im dropped with 20/25 and i love how the rear sits but my front seems like it could come out 5mm more. I have -2 camber all around btw

^ Car looks excellent. Would like to see the headlights painted rather than tinted, though. :)

Fastfatdude 11-03-2011 03:09 AM

Sorry to raise an old issue. But need some help here...

i am presently on stock Rays/tires and just installed 25mm spacer front and rear.

Thinking of installing the Swift Spec R springs but wonder if there will be rubbing issues.

Can anyone guide me?

cheshirecat 11-03-2011 09:55 AM

You will be fine. I have 20/25 on swifts and still have space for 5mm up front.
