Carbotechs Rules!!!!!
I got my new stop tech trophy brakes on Wednesday and put them on last night, for my track day this weekend. In anticipation, I ordered two sets of XP12 pads for them, and found out last night that I got a different caliper than the ST40 rears we were expecting, so I only had street pads for the rear.
I called Danny at Carbotech this morning, and they didn't have any ST41 pads that I needed, as opposed to the ST40s that the shop had ordered for me, in stock. I told him the story and how I had a track day tomorrow and they disrupted their normal planned production schedule to actually make me a pair of pads today! On top of that, they delivered them to a shop in Charlotte where a friend was loading up his car for this weekend so that he can bring them down to me. I don't think there is another manufacturer out there that would do that for you!!

I was too busy for pics. I'll do a cell phone shot tomorrow morning before they get trashed on the track

Yeah they do have very good customer service. One time they shipped me the wrong pads two days before my track day, they ended up overnighting the correct brake pad to the hotel that I was staying at. The brake pads ended up getting there before I got to the hotel.

I didn't really get a chance to find out. Has a little air in my lines still, so the first session got cut short and then in the second session I spun going on to the main straight, taking the corner too hot. The outside gators on that turn are about 6" apart and 5" deep. I went perpendicular over them and bent a rear camber arm and that was the end of my weekend.
On the bright side, I ordered a new set of eibach camber arms for 158, and checked out of the hotel early enough to only pay for one night, saving 128, so it will just cost me $30, an alignment and one tire, the one on the bent arm corded driving it off the track crooked.

no, their stuff is crap. I have eibach now, which are actually relabelled SPC parts. I amy switch everything over to SPL parts eventually though, now that they have a complete kit for the rear. SPL is the best out there.

Sorry to hear about the mishap.
Lots of rain here so I installed my pads today. My next track day will be July 13th; full day HPDE and then lapping till dusk. I hope i can bed the pads in well enough before the track event…….

Hi guys, a bit off topic, since my question is regarding brakes I didn't want to make another, so I thought I'd pose it here.
I am going to be ordering pads for my car soon. I have an 09 Nismo. What pads would you recommend for occasional track days? Also, will the Standard 18" wheels clear the Nismo brakes? I would really appreciate any info. Thanks
