Midori and Arogosta...is there anything better?

Midori Seibi worked with Aragosta to form what they believe to be the ultimate coil over. When most people here Aragosta, they visualize a hole burning in a wallet. As I mentioned in the other thread about Midori Seibi exhaust, they believe that performance knows no cost. IMO opinion, a beautiful coil over to look at.

from the site, the price is not only going to burn my wallet... more like my check and savings account.

:icon18: , It is difficult to justify. In the end, this suspension isn't for everyone; I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. It is still a beautiful piece to look it IMO.

Those are really nice to look at. Good to know high end companies are attacking the 370Z aftermarket.

oh yeah, they look super sexy. i would just have to save up for a bit to get these. what kind of suspension for these for? since the website link didn't really go into detail.

At this point in time all we were able to find out from Midori Seibi is that this suspension is two way adjustable and is ride height adjustable.

It is to my understanding that you are able to order this coil overs with the stiffness that you desire.

Talk about beautiful and expensive - that Zele Ti brace is a piece of work...

arcticreaver 04-21-2009 12:57 AM

yeah the Zele parts looks really awesome. too bad the price is so jacked up.

Ooh Aragostas....sweet but pricey. In this price range, I'd look into or wait for motons, ohlins, penskes, and hopefully some race-derived suspensions from teams running the 370Z.

OMG its from japan it must be the best thing ever. Wait for the penskes. They will be 3 way adjustable, their the best out. Hell the guy that engendered them is starting his own F1 team.

Ohlins would be nice...I have worked a lot with their products in the Evo community...top shelf!

How do these compare with the Zele-revalved Aragosta suspension setup? Of course not that much information has been provided about the Zele setup, but just curious to see if you guys would know anymore than the average consumer.

Ignore this question if this isn't the place to discuss this.

To my knowledge, at this point in time Zele and Midori Seibi are on the same boat. If you visit Zele's website you will see that they have their Aragosta coil overs listed as "still under development".

We have worked with many companies in the past who sourced Aragosta for their coil overs, such as Top Secret. Based on past experience, I would imagine that it is similar to Midori Seibi where you can order custom specs, spring rates, etc. I would imagine that the Midori Seibi might be better suited for the track because of the external reservoirs; which can be taken as Zele might be a better street coil over. That doesn't mean much but at the same time means a lot.
