haha the search tool can land us into hot water too :P

I guess it reinforces the importance of searching before posting. If all discussion on one topic was consolidated then i wouldn't have a foot in each pond.

Just to update my progress, after ~200km on new hardware (axle nuts, cotter pins, adjusting caps, spring washers) torqued to FSM spec, the damn clicking returned on the RHS axle.
Instead of backing it off, i just torqued it up an extra 10nm (115nm). The nut budged about 10-15 degrees. Whacked the adjusting cap and cotter pin back on. Silent again but we'll see for how long. Ridiculous

Greetings from Sydney

hey did anyone ever solve this?

i just installed rear 2 piece rotors and the emergency brake assembly gave me hell getting the rotors back on but now i have this clicking sound. clicks with rotation of the wheel on the driver side no matter how slow i roll.

there's also a separate click coming from the passenger side if i go from fwd to reverse or reverse to fwd.

have never touched the axle nut, only removed rotor/caliper. any thoughts?

Yep, i posted up a thread about it. You need a castellated nut to replace the inadequate Nissan design. Easiest suitable replacement is the Kawasaki axle nuts but you need some thick washers to make up the gap.

Since you have two piece rotors i'd check the fasteners for the discs, check surface of the inside of the hat where the handbrake shoes contact. First noise sounds contact related. Second noise sounds like the loose axle nut
