Just hit 32K on my 09 non-sport and yesterday and this morning im hearing loud squeaking from I believe my left rear brakes...obv loud when im braking but also while

Just hit 32K on my 09 non-sport and yesterday and this morning im hearing loud squeaking from I believe my left rear brakes...obv loud when im braking but also while driving I hear a constant rotation of squeling ...the pads look a lil low from what I can see...im assuming my brakes are gone? Any help would be great and any recommendations on what pads to get and where to take it...is this expensive on our cars and im assuming don't go to dealer?
