The main 'feel' issue with the stock sport brakes is the pads. If you just don't have confidence in the brakes, get more aggressive pads. I've found that the stock pads have horrible bite and feel, but if you smoosh them, they'll still stop you. But once you drive with track pads, you'll see what the Z's brakes are capable of.
Swapping fluid and lines won't do too much if you haven't changed the pads. The fluid just helps withstand the heat issues for longer driving sessions.

Brakes are always my number one priority. I don't take shortcuts with brakes. I try to go with the best and most capable system available. AM Performance Brembo Caliper and Rotor kit meet that criteria for me and they are dang sexy too!

You're dreaming. The brakes, although not quite "track quality", are pretty superior. But, if you're going for racing brakes... well then.

I think they are lacking, sure they are good enough for DD, but even for light track work they need something, it depends on your expectation I guess, and what you are used to from a good braking system.
If yours are great for you I am happy for you, enjoy.

Every time I've hit the track with XP10/XP8 Pads on the Sports brakes, I get nothing but compliments from the instructors. They all seem to be impressed with the braking power. *shrug*

How are the pads DD? do you change them out just for track use or just run with them?
Hows rotor wear?

these calipers are fine for the track, just not on our cars. They are a very high quality caliper. I have a little experience, since my powdercoating business specializes in calipers. I've torn down and rebuilt just about every brand on the market and these are a quality item. It really comes down to cooling in my opinion. My friend with a G37 Coupe has no issues when tracking.

I swap them out before each track session. It takes maybe 20 minutes to swap them all out. It takes longer to jack up the car and swap wheels.
