how to raise the rear of my megan coilovers....
before i get bashed lol... i am completely noob when it comes to these things.... so i finally got time to install the rear and i adjusted the coilover.... i know its not a "TRUE" type coilover thats what confuses me the most....but anyways.... so i adjust the part that has the two nuts on the spring... and my car is still slammed ... it looks like its taking a big ol **** LOL... so my question is... if i adjust the shock part on the rear will it raise it? my guess to this is no... because ive never heard of anyone buying shocks to raise there car lol.... any help would be appreciated.... i already maxed out the adjustment on the spring part... to make it its highest but still no luck

Both shock and spring in the rear need to be adjusted to raise or lower your car. I have BC installed and dealing with getting them all the same height is a fkn pain.

so the shock's full extend length is limiting the height of the car? dang... your rear tire is going to go airborne when you go over a bump... hope you have true LSD. hahahaha.

If you have a hard time turning the collars on the springs, put the wheels back on so the suspension has more weight. You can also shake the springs to see if they are loose.

victory dance owt owt.... owt owt lol... anyways after messing around with the shocks which didnt do crap lol, so i was gonna just put back the eibachs in the rear... and keep the megan shock... ghetto right? lol but then i thought about making a spacer and make it sit on top of the adjustment like a hat.... but that would be to much work and to much time...and when the megans break imma end up HAVING to get megans again.... so then when i was about to go with the desperate idea of putting the eibachs on lol then i saw it... it just hit me like a big jet plane.... the old eibachs used a spacer on the top portion of the spring that looks sorta like a cone... it was removed because when you use the megans thats where the adjustment part will sit.... wouldnt you guys know? it fit the bottom portion of the megans and the part on the car were the spring sits... instant spacer
you guys dont know how happy that big *** gap made me feel... now i can actually adjust the rear and go lower cant wait till i break these babies in... and adjust everything to its final specs.....

I'm not sure I understand why you did that.

the reason why i did that was because for some weird reason with the megans rear part of there kit for the not true type coilover system..... the adjustable part is to short so even when you max it out to its highest adjustment... its still slammed as hell in the rear.... while in the front part of the car you can raise it sky high.... to give you guys an idea... my side skirt was about 2 3/4 above the ground in the rear....keep in mind that is the highest it will go.... and my front is about 4 1/2 i know the right thing to do was slam the front but i would be at the same place i was when i had my springs... i could only go from my house to work... no where else... which sucked....
here is what i meant about the max height of the rear for the megans..... i used phimosis car as reference.... for the rear section if you look at the adjustment his own is maxed out also but if you look at his car in the first pic... its still slammed as hell in the rear.... my car ended up looking like it was launching while it was parked or how i described it to all my friends it looks like its taking a crap....

i hope that explains the reason why i added the rubber part.... so now.....i can actually use the adjustment part.... and make it lower.... and higher.... not just.... slammed in the rear no adjustment because maxed out height is still slammed as hell......

one last thing... if anything one thinks im leaving the 4 finger wheel gap you guys are crazy man lol thatll look like a monster truck.... that pic was taken right after i let down the car... so the springs didnt relax yet after it settled in it was about a three finger gap after i use my car and break in the springs it should lower it another finger and leave me a two finger gap this was the height i had with the eibachs.... and this was where i wanted to be able to adjust it.... i want my rear to be adjusted to about a finger and a half wheel back just 1/4 lower than the eibachs
