TEIN EDFC w/KW V3?? Possible?
Does anyone have this setup on their Z? If so, any obstacles you overcame?
I'd like to be able to control my ride while i'm in the car but am unsure if I have to marry TEIN Coilovers with their EDFC or if I can use other adjustable Coilovers like the KW V3 with this system. If you can use EDFC with KW V3, would the rebound adjustability completely screw up drivability while damping is being dynamically adjusted? Thanks for any help! :hello: |
The EDFC works through servo motors that replace the damping adjustment knob. The only difficulty I'd see is possibly finding an adapter to fit the damping adjustment.
Also the EDFC is not dynamic in the sense that you set it…... and it stays put unless you reach down and change the setting. |
its possible...however the top mount adjustment (which the EDFC will adjust) will only adjust the rebound adjustment on KW V3's. the compression adjustment is on the bottom of the damper

Hey Nikon, how often do you hit up the eastside? :)
Would like to see how your suspension system feels if you're up for it. |

Look up KW HLS...
Edit: Never mind it only does height.... |

I've sent them a mail in regards to a remote damping force controller they know of for their suspension or maybe if they're making one. I'll let you all know if I hear anything back from KW. |

OR... Maybe we can meet up at Evergreen Speedway on Sunday since they're doing ProAm Drifting? :) My buddy drifts the 350Z.
