best daily driver high performance brake pads

OP, you could give the Nismo brake pads a shot. They're supposed to be a slight upgrade to stock but still be low dust/noise.

Not to be too nosy, but the what the hell have you been doing that would cause you to say that

I can vouch for this car stopping very well on the freeway at speed with erratic traffic stopping, on the street, in the canyons and in the rain. There is not one single time where I did not have confidence in the braking performance of this car.

Like myself you also went with the SP upgrade, right? So what pads did you exactly use? I went with the Hawks HP+. I love them so far. Going to see what they have this weekend on some spirted driving. I plant to track them in a month. So I'll see how that goes for myself. I already have a backup plan for rotors coming.

If you go fast enough, you will melt through the HP+ within 2-3 days

That's fine. Cause I'll be ready to get to some Carbotechs next time around. I like to try all types first hand reguardless of what others say.

Man this is an old thread but geez they really called out OP on street racing yet no one said anything to the guy cussing. Then they kept going on and on instead of just answering the question. I came here bc this is the first thing Google popped up and all it is is forum bashing. Danggggg. So now that it's 2015. Was is a good solid brake pad for DD and very little track time?

You should look into Project Mu Street: Type NS (Very good for street) and Project Mu Street Sports: B-Force (Very good for street and light track)
FLUJOKE and RicerX like this.

I'm gonna try a StopTech rotor/pads setup soon. We'll see how that goes.
