Eibach Springs & Spacers - Review+Pics

So how do those spacers work? They attatch to the hub with nuts then the wheel sits up against the nuts??? So just the backs of the nuts are touching

So how do those spacers work? They attatch to the hub with nuts then the wheel sits up against the nuts??? So just the backs of the nuts are touching the wheel?

Minicobra1, do you have a quick recap of your setup and what you finally settled in with for the spacers?

Ichiba spacers:

1) Version 1 or V2 (any particular reason on which version)
2) Stud replacement or bolt on
3) Size Front
4) Size Rear
5) Could you have gone larger?


Eibach Pro Sport Springs

Rear Camber Kit?

im curious, did ur car settle lower than the specs that were given for the eibach spring of.09F &.08R? im just wondering if when the springs settle, that the car will be lower than the specs given ya kno.

Hey Curtis,

Sorry, haven't been on here in awhile.

1) Version 1, (stud replacement) safer, lighter, plus bolt on style doesn't fit
the front rims b/c the cut outs are not deep enough in the back to clear
the protruding studs.
2) Stud replacement
3) Front 15mm
4) Rear 20mm
5) 20mm will work fine on front, as far as going larger in the rear, 25mm
would work, but I wouldn't recommend it, unless you plan on never going
wider then the stock 275mm tire. If you want to run wider tires I would
stick with the 20mm out back.

Not very much, if anything just a couple of millimeters. I don't recall the original ride height, forgot where I wrote that down It looks to be pretty close to where it was at when I first installed them. Actually the rear raised up a bit when I installed the SPC camber arms and had some of the negative camber taken out.

Took this off another post that Amplified Motorsports put up, I think it's from Eibachs spec sheet.

Hey Mincobra1, thanks for the great feedback.

I am thinking of going 20mm front and 25mm on the rears for wheel spacers. As I plan on keeping these Rays rims for a wheel. Wider tires on the stock Rays rims…geez now you got me thinking, maybe I should just stay with 20mm on the rears. Dunno…

Thanks for the pics, I saw those awhile back, and I cannot tell from the pics if the rears are flush, and I cannot see much on the front from those pics. Any new ones?

I am ordering a set of SPC rear camber kit, and hopefully I will not need to hog out the toe bolt. I did not have to install the toes bolts on my old 350Z with H&R springs (1.3 drop in front and 1.0 drop in rear) and Koni Yellow. Hoping to get away without having to install it, since I am not gonna be slammed with the Eibach’s. Will be holding off on the SPC Upper Control Arms since I heard the drop is not enough to require control arms. The parts should be at my garage (Z Car Garage of San Jose, CA) along with Berk HFC and the new Injen CAI. I already have the Nismo CBE so I am stuck with it for the time being. Oh...and an oil cooler, which is a must. ZCG will probably make their own oil cooler as they are taking on mine and the bros 370Z' as project cars along with their Red 370Z shop car. Rob Fuller already has labeld our cars as the 370ZBros...lol

So it’s a coincidence that we were thinking along the same line as far as mods go. Btw. I have the Platinum Graphite….no worries though I am NorCal and you SoCal …lol…but my roots are SoCal - San Gabriel Valley, HB, Riverside and OC.

Hey guys. There are a few members on this thread: spacers that are having vibration issues with the Ichiba spacers. I know there are many here who are using them with no issues and recommend them. Anyone who would care to comment would be appreciated. I was going to put them on my 370 with the 19" Rays like most have, but am curious as to why these guys are having issues. Thanks.

Real odd, especially since two members chimed in now with Ichiba wheel spacer issues. They both do not indicate what size spacers they are running. If that makes a difference.

Yeah, hard to say on the 25mm rears, I plan on running 305/30/19's like some others on the forum, It looks like it would be close to flush with that tire. The 275's go in a bit, so the 305's will definitely fill the fenderwell better.
There is a link below to Phimosis thread with pics, he has the 305's with 15mm, so 20mm with that size tire should look just right.
I didn't intall the toe bolt on my SPC, looked like the stock one had plenty of adjustment.
Once you get your HFC's on, you will start liking the Nismo CBE, it really comes alive after that. :-) I'm still switching to Berk when it's available, but the HFC's really make a difference. They are a little raspy when the car is cold starting out, but tends to go away once warmed up.

I haven't had any issues with vibration, had the car in the triple digits and still no problems. make sure the wheel is seated properly on the centering ring, replacement studs are pressed in and seated flush on the hub flange. I torque my wheels at 85ft lbs (+5lbs over spec) while they are still off the ground.
Re-check torque after driving 50+ miles.

Thanks Braden, I think I am sold on 20 mm for the rears and when the tires go bald, then switch to 305's. And 20 mm for the fronts with 275's. Sounds like the way to go.

Good to hear about not needing to install toe bolt. I was hoping you would say that.

So what camber settings did you go with?


Can't wait for the Berk HFC paired up with Injen CAI on the Nismo CBE. Eventually I am looking at Fast Intentions exhaust and keep the Berk HFC.
