Its always recommended to change the shocks when lowering. Some people just throw lowering springs on the stock shocks then change them when they blow. Def easier to do both at once though.

on my 350 i ran 2 years on stock shocks with Tanabe NF springs (not that BIG of a drop) and had no issues with shocks

after those 2 years i went back to stock height (springs) and they where fine

I think it makes a difference in appearance, you can really tell when you are next to a stock 370Z, it's about 7/8 of an inch. I do have people that ask me if the car is lowered, so I think it is low enough where people have to ask.

Personally I think another 1/2 inch lower would be perfect, one reason I"m thinking of switching to coilovers. On the other hand I'm a bit concerned with scraping on speed bumps and driveways. As it stands now I rub the front chin spoiler and wheel wind deflectors quite a bit lately. The other night I scraped the exhaust pipes pretty good on this one driveway, even though I"m extremely careful and always go at an angle. I also notice some scrape marks on the flex pipes of my Nismo exhaust when I changed the oil a few weeks back.

I don't know of any yet, I'm sure there will be some in that range though. I'm pretty happy with the ride quality of the Eibachs. I've had other Eibachs on previous vehicles and I think they did a great job with the spring rates on these. They work really good with the stock shocks. Your going to sacrifice a little ride quality, but not much. Here is a pic of my car after installing the SPC camber arms, this is with 20mm spacers in the rear and the camber brought more back to stock position.
The Eibachs will give you a slight neg camber when first installed. Link to thread:

I think that is the same range as the Eibachs.
If you want just a minimum drop, go with the 2009 Nismo struts and springs. I don't know the exact drop, but most sites are saying 0.4inch or 10mm. They are a bit more expensive ($999 msrp) but if you do a search, you can get them for as low as $699 a set.

Is camber adjustment absolutely necessary with Eibach springs + 20" wheels?

I am getting my car lowered tomorrow by the best suspension center in our State. I am using Eibachs with 255x35x20" on a 9" rim and 305x30x20" on an 11" wide rim.
Will let you know tomorrow my camber and whether I will need camber arms.

yes theres a huge difference in my opinion, check out the before after pics of my car..
as for camber adjustment.. i would highly recommend it.. the wheels will tilt outward a little bit, and you'll notice it after the install. Plus if you align it, it will push out the rear tires more to make the stance a tad bit wider.

and heres a picture of my car with 20s with eibach drop after read camber alignment

I just had my Eibach springs fitted with my 20" rims.
The drop is very good for a street use at just over 1.2" front and rear. I was actually nicely surprised that the drop was more then Eibach specifies.
My front cross camber is -0.08 and the total toe 0.09
The rear left camber is -2.36 and right -2.43 That's the best we could get.
I'm happy with the front but the rear camber is a bit too aggressive.
I have been advised that the rear camber arms don't work and are a waste of money.
Can anyone of you guys who has already fitted the rear camber arms let me know if they have worked for you and fixed the camber problem.
Thanks.
