Any reviews out there on DBA 4000 rotors
Looking at the DBA 4000 rotors coupled with either EBC Yellow Stuff or Red Stuff pads. I'm hoping that a few of our fellow members have these installed and could give an honest review on either the pads or the rotors, mainly the rotors. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on them and would love to hear any thoughts. Plus any thoughts on what aftermarket rotors your using.
Thanks for the help, Tom

DBA is a company outta Australia, they make some high quality rotors. The 4000 series are only a 1 piece rotor, the weight would still be the same as stock (30lbs)

Thanks for that info. I'm looking for a review on the performance. I want something better than stock for a reasonable price that on the occasional track day I will feel comfortable when I go to hit the brakes. I'm also changing the lines and fluid. Could use a suggestion for lines and fluid to.

I switched to the goodridge SS brake lines & motul 600 brake fluid. I can tell you from experience that the difference is soo much better than stock. For the best pricing buy the brake lines off the Stillen site & the fluid from Z1, hope that helps Jnaut has the 5000 series front rotors, try messaging him.

One of our vendors "WeSellCarParts.com" have the Goodridge ss brake lines on sale for $182.00 shipped! So those have been ordered. I'm still waiting on picture proof from 370ZFORME that he has the rotors, otherwise I will just order them from #ut#anythi#g.com (no vendor no link) for $30.00 more than he's selling for. I'm already feeling a little squeamish, he was quick to answer p.m.’s but has yet to produce the pic's.

Just a follow up on the rotors. 370ZFORME came through just as promised, the rotors came today and man are they SWEET!. Thanks bro! Now I just need to pick some pads that are not going to eat up my new rotors once the car is on the track yet will stop me when the rotors are not as hot.

rotors won't change performance at all. I ran dba4000 slotted on my C6 and liked them just fine though.

i fitted a set of DBA 4000 slotted front rotors last weekend after getting tired of glazing the stock rotors and wooden response when braking hard. braking is now stronger and i can feel there is more bite but they are a bit touchy now.
these are the original 6x6 slotted pattern and not the new T3 slotted design. all in all, a good cheap mod as i was able to snap up these old design set for very cheap. btw i am using remsa pads |
