It's not going to hurt anything to leave it as long as it's not to bad. You don't want it hitting to hard and grab a hold of that lump and causing a pull effect on the plastic fender. But no big deal to remove it.

Got any pics of the hole hump grinded out.

I had heard from a member here that he had the same rubbbing issue when he installed his KW coilovers (I know it's apples to oranges) but it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the OP's original post. I believe he grounded his down also.

Plus the size tires I run didn't help. 265 in the front.

Yeh, 265's make for a tight fit. I guess the tire size + drop from springs + size of wheel spacer + wheel alignment and how much positive camber will determine if the tire is going to rub on the inner fender protruding nub.

Be nice is some members with the Swift springs and wheel spacers could post up their alignment specs so we could determind how much negative camber is needed at a minimun to eliminate rubbing and save on tire wear.

Installed my Swifts today. Took the extra time to cut out the plastic nub while I was there. Too cold to drive it here still so I have no review to offer....

Was it rubbing or were you being proactive? Alignment?

Could you provide this data so we can get an idea what combination you have?

I was being proactive.... stock alignment

Fr tire size: stock 245
Sport wheels: stock sport
Wheel spacer size: H&R 15mm
Camber after alignment: unknown, no adjustment since factory
Rubs? unknown as I can't drive it here yet.

Also, I have the winter tires and wheels on right now so final fitment will have to wait till spring. Lol. It's already spring I know but we still have over 6 feet of snow on the ground around here...

Winter setup: Enkei EK2 with Dunlop Graspic DS-2 tires in 18" fitment. 225 50r 18 But a lot of good they did me this year as there was too much snow to get out of the driveway....

just remove or bend the tab. have any of yall lowered a vehicle before???? if not this car will spoil you with its already rolled rear fender!

@wheee!, snow sucks, not Z friendly. et us know once you get your 19" sport wheels back on, curious to see if you have the rubbing issue. We have 25ft of snow in the Sierra's. Glad I am on the valley floor, felt like spring today it hit 81 degrees.

Lowered in the past? Yes, but did not expect to be defacing the car with grinding the nub. It's not like these springs slam the car. I think most of us are looking for a wheel alignment and depending on what wheel spacer size to not having to grind the nub. The concern is with the front wheel. Was very surprised to see Nissan rolled the rears, they probably knew we were going to fitting a wider wheel but that is for another topic. In the end I may be grinding.

Noticed earlier that I've also slightly rubbed on that same spot and I'm at stock height with 245/40 tires and 9.5 width wheel. I guess we'll see what happens once i get the swifts on.

Now that is odd, you have stock height (stock springs), Volk GT-S Ti Gunmetal wheels, and stock size tires and you are rubbing? Any wheel spacers?

I would suspect the wheels are a bit different in size than the Sport wheels. If so this may be why you are rubbing. Let us know if the Swifts take care of the slightly rubbing.

I have Eibachs, 19" sport wheels, 20 mm wheel spacer and pushed the car ans suspension to the point of scaping the exhaust but never the nub has been scraped.
