Who sells the Nissan sport brakes?

Do you guys know of any vendors that sell the sport brakes kit with the Nissan logo? I know Z1 motorsports has them. But I'd like see if there's another company out there to ensure best pricing. I'm always looking to save a buck. Also isn't the Nissan logo calipers from the Nismo models? I'm still also unsure if I want these brakes. They should work great with some nice pads. But I might just go for a front BBK only with upgraded rear rotors and pads. Not sure yet. Just exploring. Trying to weigh performance/ budget.

I think you're better off either with BBK all the way or Akebono kit all the way.

Want to make sure you have a balanced hydraulic system or you can find yourself in a bad brake bias situation.

That's what I was thinking also. It's really hard to fork out almost $4500+ for a full BBK. Even as bad as I want it. I have read from Stoptech that there systems work with the factory brake bias in mind. That's if you only went with a front kit. I have read alot on brake bias. As long as the piston measurement(either four, six, or eight piston) come within a certain percentage of the stock your fine. Pretty sure you know this. I just felt like stating for others.

I defiantly don't want a bad situation. Been there!! I probably will go with a Akebono kit with some "good" pads though. You are very right on the shipping cost. I will be there this weekend and already plan to talk to someone about this. I plan to order late next week. Will you be there so I can talk to you personally?

Yea. I think there to serious for what I'm looking for. From what Ive been told you need alot of heat in them to work great. I think the high end HPS would be great though.

Also are the Nissan calipers from the Nismo models? Not sure if I want those or the others to have powder coated. Decisions, decisions.

The HPS compound is not a track compound by any means, nor is it aggressive auto-cross pad. Hawk does not sell it that way, although a less scrupulous dealer might. It has a reasonable friction level and good durability, is easy on rotors and generates light to moderate dust. This satisfies the needs of plenty of owners, but not those who have high performance, canyon-bombing or track duty in mind. I've tested and/or evaluated probably a hundred compounds by now and can say with a high level of confidence that HPS is nowhere near the "worst pads you can buy". That said, it is way overdue for an update, which I hear is in the works.
