Alignment

When you get a four wheel alignment and your car is dropped with an aftermarket coilovers. Do shops usually set the aftermarket toe bolt and camber arms close to midpoint of spec range automatically? Does this include with the 4 wheel alignment price?

You can make sure they do by requesting that they put it to OEM spec or whatever specific parameters you want.

You give a lot of credit to the "tech" that install tires. Anytime I've ever had alignments, they give me a before and after sheet. If the measurement aren't right, then have them change it.

That's right, I forgot to mention to get a before and after printout. Just like for any other mechanical service don't just go to any discount tire place to get your alignment done. Find a good and reliable place or a performance shop. Even then, keep an eye on what they're doing and be very clear on your instructions.

yah, on my G i remember taking her in 5 times with new settings each time for the tech to try. i just wrote them down on paper. each time they gave me the readouts for before and after.

each alignment costed me $125.. lol and he cracked up and gave me a discount on the last alignment. needless to say, the car is dialed in pretty damn good.

Stillen gave me a before and after report of the existing setup. Unless you are totally dropped with spacers, negative camber will be your bestfriend...
