Most popular spacer combo?
Hey guys im planning on getting swift springs with spacers but i dont know what i should do for the spacers. I was wondering what the most popular spacer combo is. I dont want my wheels to stick out past the bumper. I was thinking 20 rear and 15 front. Thanks

Will lowering the car affect the spacer width?

The rear, however, is camber adjustable. |

I picked up all 20mm spacers. This is the thread I bought them from. There are pictures of base and sport wheels with a mild drop similar to swifts so you can get an idea of what it would look like. I don’t have pics because I am waiting on my swifts still.

Depends if you're going for looks or performance. If you're just worried about looks, a larger spacer in the rear will look better. The problem is that you're increasing the track in the rear more than the front, which will induce understeer by increasing rear grip more than front grip. For that reason, I went with 15/15. Were I to do it again, I might go 20/20, but I'll make the final call once I get some SPL rear camber arms and get the rears dialed into a reasonable amount of camber. I just lowered the car on KW Variant 1's and I'm at something like -3.4 degrees in the rear (and about -2 in the front).

Some people did have issues... the ones I picked up the seller did not as far as I know (have yet to install them). I think the issue was with the rings seating properly into the wheels. If they are not on the wheel properly you will get an unbalancing. The H&Rs do not use rings thus no issue. I posted them on this thread just for pictorial purposes.

Please tell me you're not basing that on some sort of gut reaction? That makes about as much sense as saying, "I seriously doubt you're going to be able to tell the difference in understeer because of 1 degree difference in front wheel camber."

yep, H&R and Eibach are popular choices. personally i use Eibachs and Kics. i dont think Kics has offering for stud-replacement type though. only the bolt-on type. there's a DIY in the DIY section how to do the stud replacement types.
