Anyone use the stuff from Brake Performance? Need a full set of rotors for my G35 and doing the ole shop and compare, they seem to have the best deal out there. Local parts places are quite a bit higher and the dealer is a joke.
This little project includes a r&r of the rotors, cleaning the Brembo calipers, installing new pads, proper lubrication, e-brake adjustment, brake fluid flush and pad break-in. Should be entertaining and wow does my G35 need all of this stuff! She was purchased with about 12k on the meter 5 years ago, tossed a set of pads on her at around 40k and now at 89K the whole system needs serious attention. (besides, my other mods have created some additional hp - you gotta stop what you start ) Rear discs are all but shot, fronts are okay but have a limited life expectancy. |
