Brakes squeeking when backing up
I have about 26k miles on my car, had my brakes checked recently and they showed pretty good as far as life goes, I notice everytime I'm backing up the brakes squeek loudly. Anyone have any idea what could be the cause of that? I started noticing it probably at around 20k miles.

It's just oxidation/rust on the brakes. When you're backing up, you're not hitting the brakes as hard as you would be going forward, so they tend to squeak. Every car I've ever owned does this. It's done it on my Z from the day I bought it.
Nothing to worry about. |
