Finally Lowered, Stance GR+ True Type
Well finally after what seemed like months I have lowered my car. If you remember before it looked like a 4 wheel drive truck. I lowered on Stance GR+ coilovers. Mine are a true type style. Which means the rear are a true coilover just like the front. The spring rates are F-13k and R-5k. Which on a true style the rear being at 5k is equivalent to a 11k on the Stance OEM type. So I'm told. These are just some quick pics. I'm wore out after the last two days.
I also installed SPC alignment kit, Hotchkis sways, and some 10mm spacers for the rear. My wheels are +22 offset all the way around. So I added the spacers in the rear. I just have some quick pics for now. Took me a total of 16 hours to install everything by myself. Still have some more adjusting to do. When I took it for a small test drive, it defiantly needs an alignment. The rear seems as it's steering the car. But I'm setting up an appointment ASAP for corner balance and alignment to square it all off. I'd also like to thank Nick at THMotorsports for hooking me up with all these parts. They really have great prices. BEFORE AFTER

I'm ready for it. Got to find the time to get this baby corner balanced and aligned. Plus there's still some tweaks to be made. Going to drop it off at Forged Performance and let then put there touches on it. Feel like I've been runnig crazy these last two weeks. I need a vacation.

It feels real planted. It is stiff. But I like that. But at the same time it was hard to say of the actual feeling. I feel it needs some adjusting in the springs but I'm going to leave that to the pros. The instruction say not to adjust except to corner balance. Plus it really needs an alignment bad being I changed all that out. I tried my best to set everything back to what I thought was close. But I feel I failed.. Which is to be expected if you ask me.

I have the same type of coilovers but the ksport brand. Very good for track use but very rough for DD and feels like an entirely different car. im going to be getting a DD shortly so i dont have to drive the car all the time. enjoy!

I know. I'm already thinking of going up a 1/4". I really feel there will have to be some changes when it's corner balanced. It might be a week or two till I get everything arranged and done. It really sucks. Due to headlights and getting this done now, it seems I haven't had a chance to enjoy my car. in a month. But when I do, it will be on.

Hey Spohn,
Thanks for the post and the information. Just got my Swift Springs and Stillen Sways installed, and I need camber kits. Thanks for the point to THMotorSports - GREAT price!!

What's the difference between OEM type and true coilovers? Would you recommend these for DD because i was planning on getting these as a friend of mine has it on his 350z and i really liked the feel of it, and the ride quality was really good too even though the dampers were all the way at stiff and the car was as low as it could go.
