Default Brake Noise

Anyone experienced this? Depressing the brake slightly will trigger the scrapping/grinding noise? From my observation, the noise is coming from passenger rear wheel. I don't know if this has to do with the brakes or the rotors. I only have 7k miles. The noise is similar to something like this on the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL2YL...e_gdata_player

Mine does it when the brakes are cold and only if I lightly press the brakes.

Yah no noise when you are just crusing. by the time you lightly press the brakes to stop then the noise will show up.

Something like this happened to my wife's Jetta, but the noise was one continuous tone until the car was stopped. When we took it to the dealer, they fixed it and told me the rotors were the problem. He said that the rotors looked a hot mess. we don't do any crazy driving so I don't know how they got like that.
