Rear lower control arms are the same for all years and models of 370z. That contains the spring bucket.

Arent 2015+ nismo springs…red?

I dont think you have the right part

On a hunch i googled G37 springs and those do appear to be longer than 370z springs, so whoever you bought those springs fron may have mixed some stuff up

Color is right. OEM 09-14 Nismo is red. OEM 15+ Nismo is black.

I measured the rear spring at around 11 1/8 inches, outer end to outer end.

Does look like a G37 spring. I remember G37 guys using 370z front springs to lower their G’s, but not the 370z rear springs because it’ll be way too low and soft.

So what do you suggest I do? I just measured my rear springs and they are 13" end to end.

Why is yours red? Is it early Nismo? The paint dots on the new springs are 2 orange spots and a brown spot. My stock springs are 2 greens and a pink. How would I know if I'm getting the correct part when they send me the so called correct springs?

I also need to correct myself. My 15+ ones are indeed black

The color change is due to the 09-14 nismo having much stiffer springs than 15+, when nismo softened the suspension

Maybe you should tell us who “they” refers to

Or

You received the wrong part.

The only way to ensure correct part would be via part number.

I plugged in a 16 Nismo vin and got rear spring part number 55020-1EA0B (confirmed different part number than my 09 Nismo).

Where did you get the spring from?

And how do we know if the front springs are even from a 370z? Since G and Z springs are both black, and we are quite sure the rear springs are NOT for a 370z....

"They" refers to the seller of the parts which I bought on eBay. Seller said he would send me the correct springs, but since he messed things up twice, I would like to try to verify that they are the correct springs when I receive them, which should be next Friday.

The struts are definitely correct because the part numbers are for a '15+ Nismo as are the shocks. I suppose it's not 100% certain that the front are correct. Since the part number of the spring does not appear on the Spring, I don't know of a way to confirm that the springs I will receive are from a Nismo. If someone has '15+ Nismo springs, could you measure the length and see if there are any identifying marks? I know Nissan uses paint spots but I'm not sure what the colors mean.

I swapped the wrong spring for the stock left rear spring and then removed the right rear shock and replaced it with the nismo unit and went forca test drive. So to recap, the car now has the 2015+ Nismo front struts and nismo rear shocks but stock rear springs.

The car is definitely more jiggly...firm and you can feel more bumps. However, it's not terrible at all. It feels more like a sports car. The car corners flatter and is more responsive. I think the OEM Nismo suspension is a great option for someone who wants a firmer ride but does not want to lower the car.

I received alleged Nismo rear springs from the seller. They are identical in every way to my stock springs....spring wire thickness 15.03ish mm, length 12 inches, paint marks 2 green and 1 pink, number of coils 5, and coil shape. Can someone with a 2015 nismo measure their springs and let me know. The springs wire thickness can be measure without removing wheel but the rest needs wheel and spring removal.

My spring on bottom, and spring I received on top.
