Z1 Motorsports SS Brake Lines
I'm about to swap over to a fresh set of powder coated calipers and when I do so, I'm going to be changing my brake lines and fluid.
Has anyone used the Z1 SS brake lines? On their site, they are listed for $104 which is about half the price of Goodridge or HEL lines. Good deal IMO. I know some SS lines are prone to corrode over time if the proper material isn't used... just looking for someone that has used them that could share some insight. I will likely get the SS clutch line as well and switch both fluids over to the Motul RBF 600. Thanks for looking! |

I haven't used these particular lines, but I accidentally cross threaded my brembo calipers and had to retap the fluid line holes out to an SAE thread. Z1 made me some custom lines that were metric on one end and SAE sized on the other and they are very nice quality. Go for it.

I'm using them, they seemed like they were great quality and looked pretty damn similar to the ones others are selling for much more. Survived one track day and several thousand normal miles as well, just fine.

I know people that have run them on other cars than the Z car. They essentially the same thing as Ksport and all of the other Taiwan / China made coilover kits. Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to pick them up! |
