question can i puchase the sport rotors and brembro calipers lines and call it a day? What else would i need? I have a base model non sport package.

We do not have Brembos, the stock BBK is Akebono.

you should ask Mike, since he did it before.

I think your trying to go with to many variables. Are you wanting to go with a BBK at all four corners? If not you could also just go with a good BBK up front only. But buy a hole kit and don't piece one together.

If you want 6 piston up front then look at a kit that starts with 6 piston up front.
Most kits you can buy the fronts separate from the rears so after the front upgrade you can decide if you want the rears.

you might have issues with 6POT fronts and stock rears during hard breaking. your break balance will be way off.

If its for track or other hard use then the back may even start to slide out if breaking into a corner from high speeds

You know, I wondered about this also. I want to say that you can do it without any brake bias problem. There where plenty of guys that did this setup on the 350's but not sure if they had any issues. Can someone shine in on this?

If he had sport Id say very easy to do. but with the non sport rears id be worried

in answer to your question, yes, all you need is the 6 piston front upgrade kit (comes with all mounting hardware and new brake lines) and sport rotors.

As for not upgrading the rears, I don't think there would be much difference. The pad size isn't much bigger on the rear akebonos as on the stock calipers.
