I am waiting for Koni to release their adjustable shocks for the 370z since I absolutely loved them on my last car (Koni yellows).

I have Tokicos but I'm about to swap them for Koni Yellows.

I'm surprsied they don't have them out for the 370 yet. It can't be too much different than the 350 ones...

oh shitto, mustang found my post. HELLO~!

yah, im happy with my D-Specs on my G35C. yellows feel good too... only thing with those is sometimes you have to do a little adjusting to get them to fit and only rebound adjustable. for stock or linear springs that's great, but for most folks that use with progressive rate springs bound control is also very important even if it's simultaneous with rebound.

I'm looking at the D-Spec and Yellows. D's are like $200 cheaper but I know the Konis are more highly regarded and it's much easier to adjust the rear shocks on the Mustang with the Konis vs. the D-Specs. My suspension guy is recommending them (along with linear springs) but I just have to wait until they are off backorder... they aren't shipping from Holland until mid-March!

I'm confused on why there is such a delay because G37 has been out even longer than the Z and there's no adjustable shocks for the G either afaik... I'm happy with my drop on tein springs, and would love to go the adjustable shock route rather than getting coils.

ahh, sounds good. yah on my G35C i have to lower the shock down from the well to access the adjustment screw. i know some folks drill holes and put an extender and that's a great idea for track folks but for me i played with it for about a month or so and kept it at that stiffness.

honestly speaking i think D-Specs are more for street and Koni's more high performance. the damp capacity on Koni's appear to be much higher. i mean you can shake a old man's tooth loose with koni's in full stiff. with D-Specs at max it's stiff but not super stiff like how my coilovers could do. not that i'd setup the car that way.

I definitely want easy adjustment so I can have a smooth ride to ZDayZ and then amp it up once I get there.

I think Hitachi is alright. They are a HUGE supplier. Half the crap on my car is made by Hitachi.
