If you are trying to save some money just keep an eye on the classifieds. You will eventually catch some used quality spacers for a great price. IMO it's much better than buying a cheaply made product. Everyone on the forum is trying to help you out. Many of us have experience with going the cheap route and it ends up costing you more money in the long run.

Question

Question: Do wheel spacers help the car handle better, or are they just for looks?

Altering the front and rear track separately can be a technique used to fine tune handling. Widen the front track to reduce understeer, widen the rear track to reduce oversteer. Widening them both will give you a slightly lower roll-point angle, but because it alters the suspension geometry you also slightly lessen the effective spring rate.

Alright guys, The spacers listed by optionselect on ebay are VERY good pieces. I bought the 25 mm, all 4 for 150 no S&H.....They are 2 piece hubcentric made of the same alloy as the others you're talking about. I (me personally) mounted them on a set of 19" wheels and they actually were as good or better in RFV and balance(Measured by a factory Kokusai tire machine) as the wheels without the spacers mounted. There should be no vibration if you mount them properly.
Of course with all ebay purchases you roll the dice, but these pieces from this vendor were excellent.
